To become a qualified DSA instructor you will need to:
- Have held a clean UK or European unrestricted driving licence for 4 years. The DSA may allow up to 6 points on the license but this is at the register's discretion.
- Be able to read a normal number plate from 27.5 metres (90 feet).
- And have no NON DRIVING court offences.
You will then need to pass 3 exams.
- Part 1 - Theory Hazard Perception Test
- Part 2 - Driving Ability Test
- Part 3 - Instructional Ability Test
